**Overview** The Rental Car Driver Must have the ability to drive various sized vehicles including large vans and pickup trucks and small vehicles, as well as drive with a team of drivers in and out of the five boroughs. Safely operates vehicles while observing speed limits and slower reasonable speeds in heavy traffic areas. Depending on the contractual need, this could be around airport grounds, or it could be from a nearby rental car facility. _The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members ( | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) **Basic Qualifications:** - Must be 21 years of age or older - Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license - No experience required and on the job training provided - No high school diploma, GED or college degree required **Preferred Qualifications:** - Customer service experience - One (1) year of similar work experience **Responsibilities:** - Drive vehicles within and/or between rental locations - Inspect vehicles on a regular basis to find any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues - Report incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead - Drive small and large passenger vehicles (SUV's, Van, Pickups, etc.) - Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, compliance with proper safety standards A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
