Overview:
Dynamic clinical research site in Wilson, NC is seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as a Sub-Investigator. This role is pivotal to ensuring the quality and integrity of clinical trials, working closely with the Principal Investigator to support patient care and study execution. Responsibilities:
Review, comprehend, and adhere to assigned study protocols.
Assist trial Investigators in screening and reviewing potential study participants’ eligibility.
Conduct subject visits and perform study procedures accurately.
Maintain case report forms, patient charts, and documentation in compliance with protocol and regulations.
Collect and enter study data and complete protocol training.
Review lab results, imaging reports, and other study-specific documentation.
Serve as a Study Coordinator for select, limited studies.
Act as a key site resource, demonstrating strong communication, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree required.
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). NP preferred.
Minimum 2 years of clinical research or Sub-Investigator experience strongly preferred.
Family Medicine and/or Gastroenterology (GI) experience preferred.
Trained in phlebotomy; pediatrics experience a plus.
Knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH-GCP, and ISO standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident and assertive in a clinical research environment.
Ability to multi-task, work under time constraints, and travel to nearby sites.
Proficient in relevant computer software and clinical systems.
