Check Out What You'll Do: Create & Install City Signage Help design, build, and set up street signs that keep our city moving safely, following federal MUTCD standards. Get Hands-On From making and repairing signs to installing pavement markings, trimming trees, and even snow plowing no two days are the same! Keep Traffic Flowing Set up work zones, place barricades, and follow safety protocols to keep roads safe for drivers and pedestrians. Have one (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction or grounds maintenance tasks. Be at least 18 years of age. Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position. Passthe written portion of the Class A or B CDL exambefore your start date. Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November thru March. Be able to work Call Out duty, On-Call duty rotation, and emergency calls outside of normal work hours as scheduled. This will include evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned. Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position. Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:The starting hourly wage is $20.06 perhour and will increase to$20.86per hour after 6 months of successful probation.
