These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​ We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. **Job Description** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Works in the Shipping area, packing and shipping product as well as unloading and receiving in material. + Must be able to learn UPS or Fed Ex shipping equipment, including international shipping + Able to be forklift certified **Education and Experience:** + HS diploma or equivalent + Ability to apply common sense in performing job + Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals + Ability to use basic high school math skills + 6 months shipping experience or 12 months of general factory work **Physical Demands:** + Good coordination and flexibility in both hands + Occasionally lifting up to 50 -75 Lbs. **Work Environment:** + Factory environment, some outdoor exposure. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Use of appropriate PPE for occasional chemical handling + Use of safety glasses + Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers **Training Requirements:** + ERP and Time clock system Overview + Teledyne Ethics and Harassment training + Hazardous Waste Handler + Hazardous Communications + Quality Systems **Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned** \#DGO Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
