Job Description

A top-tier real estate development group is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting for commercial construction projects. You’ll handle job costing, financial reporting, and construction loan requisitions, while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare GAAP-compliant monthly and quarterly financials
• Manage construction loan requisitions and vendor payments
• Review job costs and general ledger activity
• Support annual audits and reporting to lenders/partners
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Assist with system improvements and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA/public accounting a plus
• 3+ years’ experience in accounting (construction or real estate preferred)
• Strong Excel skills; JD Edwards, Textura, or Hubble a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
