North Wind Federal Services, LLC is an Alaska Native owned Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) specializing in infrastructure support services and facilities maintenance, base operating services, waste management and radiological services, security control and force protection, environmental services, janitorial services and professional, administrative, and management services.

POSITION PURPOSE:
North Wind Federal Services is seeking vigilant and reliable Security Escorts to supervise uncleared personnel within a secure federal facility. This role requires adherence to strict access control procedures and real-time coordination with security staff to ensure mission integrity and facility safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Escort uncleared personnel at all times; maintain unobstructed visual control.
• Supervise entry/exit points per security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures; stop work for violations.
• Support short-notice escort requests and mission-critical assignments.
• Report schedule deviations or personnel absences to the project lead promptly.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED

Skills and Abilities:

• Familiarity with government security procedures and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environments.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to respond to dynamic security needs.
• Flexible with scheduling and capable of working independently or in teams.

Special Requirements:

• Eligibility for DOE Q Clearance and SCI Access; polygraph may be required.
• May include short-notice or intermittent assignments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a security or protective services role strongly preferred.
• DoD Top Secret clearance or DOE Q clearance preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work performed on-site in a secure government facility, often in or around SCIFs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Requires standing and moving for extended periods and constant situational awareness.
