Project Site: Gary, IN

Project Duration: JANUARY – MARCH

Pay: $25–$60/hour (based on experience)

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION ( for future projects)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter for a short-term project in Gary, IN. Our company is a leading general contractor serving the food and beverage manufacturing industry , specializing in process piping, equipment installation, and plant maintenance.

This project involves installing miscellaneous piping systems, tanks, and steam lines in a production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install and assemble piping systems, tanks, and steam pipes according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
• Perform cutting, threading, and welding as required
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements
• Collaborate with other trades and project managers to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a pipefitter in industrial or manufacturing settings
• Ability to work with stainless steel and other materials common in food and beverage facilities
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, valves, and fittings
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Reliable transportation to Gary, IN project site
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Schedule & Compensation:

• Project runs January through March
• Pay range: $25–$60/hour, based on experience
