Where You Will Work:

Our corporate office is located in the  Denver Tech Center . Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline. 

AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be  in-office 5 days a week  to support the team.

Job Description



We are hiring a Temporary   Payroll Specialist (potential to go permanent)  to join our centralized team in  the Denver Tech Center, CO.

What you will do:

  • Analyze, verify, and process the organization's payroll accurately and on time.
  • Apply knowledge of payroll processing, tax reciprocities and garnishments in a multi-faceted organization. 
  • Assist with calculating commissions, paychecks, and bonus payments. Maintain payroll records.
  • Resolve inquiries from team members.
  • May check the work of others to ensure that the payroll is processed accurately. 
  • Duties may include accounting, distributing and preparing payments, ensure commission, bonus, and other files are uploaded within established timelines.

Qualifications

  • High School degree and a minimum of 3 years of multistate payroll experience. Preferred expereince in UKG. 
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Exposure to various areas of human resources, including benefits and payroll tax preferred. 
  • Ability to work independently, research, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a nimble environment.
  • Ability to run existing queries is preferred. Ability to utilize a computer and other office equipment.
  • Excellent Excel skills, that include performing vlookups, subtotaling, creating formulas that use “if” “then” statements, etc.
  • Ability to make basic math calculations. Experience with UltiPro and Workforce Dimensions preferred.

AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance at the individual, team and company levels. We start with a competitive base salary and add bonus opportunities and benefit choices topped off with:

  • Expected base salary of $60,000- $70,000.  You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

There is potential for this role to go permanent. If full-time, position will be eligible for the benefits below.
