PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position Location: Bismarck, ND Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hrs & 12hrs (mixed) Pay: $2325.60/week Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and diagnostic procedures. The PACU RN will monitor vital signs, manage post-anesthesia symptoms, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective recovery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and dedicated to patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities: * Provide direct nursing care to patients in the immediate post-anesthesia phase. * Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and neurological function. * Administer medications, oxygen therapy, and interventions as needed. * Educate and support patients and families during the recovery process. * Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately. * Follow PACU protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines.
