Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications and blueprints.
• Work on a line where tasks vary from model to model
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all assembled products meet industry standards.
• Perform a variety of operations to assemble intricate units involving a considerable number of parts
• Prepare sub-assemblies for units or maintain production inventory of sub-assembled parts.
• Perform point-to-point wiring of components in units on either standard or custom applications.
• Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Finish assembly of each unit to include quality of checks, documenting, labeling, cleaning and crating.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, plans, diagrams and work instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
