We are seeking a Maintenance, Engineering, and Facilities Manager for our site in Willard, OH. The Maintenance, Engineering, and Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the maintenance team, overseeing equipment reliability programs, driving engineering projects, and ensuring the facilities are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical in supporting production, minimizing downtime, and leading capital improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage all maintenance and facilities functions across the site.
- Train and mentor supervisory staff to improve team capabilities and performance.
- Implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Oversee engineering projects, capital improvements, and equipment upgrades.
- Manage vendor relationships and help manage proposals / agreements and project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs.
- Create and manage departmental budgets and capital expenditure plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, safety, and quality teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
- Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians, building personnel and engineers.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Management, Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 10 + years of experience in maintenance and facilities management, in a manufacturing / industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read / understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). MVP1 preferred.
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement approach in manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental programs.
- Flexibility to respond to emergency calls or off-hours support as needed.
