EXPERIENCE WITH CONSTRUCTION AND POWER TOOLS IS A PLUS

Connect Staffing is seeking a Leveling Helper to fill an opening at a steel and metal manufacturing company in Riverside, CA.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00AM – 12:30PM, with overtime as required

Requirements for Leveling Helper:

• Minimum 6 months of recent construction experience
• Must be willing and able to learn how to operate overhead crane and forklift safely
• Some experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or labor-intensive role
• Experience using power tools or in construction is a plus
• Prior experience in roles such as General Laborer, Machine Operator Helper, Construction Laborer, Warehouse Associate, Production Worker, or Material Handler is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Leveling Helper:

• Assist with packaging and banding materials from the leveling machine
• Use manual and pneumatic strapping tools to secure materials
• Alert the machine operator of any visible defects or quality issues
• Build custom wood skids and pallets as required for each order
• Accurately track and record all wood usage for pallet building
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Overtime may be required depending on production volume
