Job Description

Design Work That Matters. Flexibility That Respects Your Life. A Team That Values You.

If you’re a seasoned Landscape Architect who wants to work on meaningful, high-impact projects—without sacrificing flexibility, collaboration, or a healthy work culture—this role was created with you in mind.

This is an opportunity to join a design-forward, interdisciplinary team where your expertise is trusted, your ideas are welcomed, and your experience shapes projects from concept through completion. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio—parks, higher education, trails, sports facilities, and urban environments—while enjoying schedule flexibility, professional growth, and a genuinely supportive workplace.

We believe great design happens when people feel respected, included, and empowered to do their best work. Here, you’ll find a kind, fun, and collaborative office culture built on communication, flexibility, and mutual respect.

The Role

As a Landscape Architect, you’ll contribute across all phases of landscape architecture projects—from early schematic design through construction documentation and administration. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal team members while helping guide projects forward with clarity, creativity, and technical excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary design team to deliver thoughtful, well-coordinated projects

  • Partner with clients to understand project goals, needs, and vision

  • Coordinate with external consultants, including architects, engineers, surveyors, planners, and estimators

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, contributing across all phases of design and delivery

  • Compile complete drawing sets and oversee technical documentation

  • Understand and manage project schedules and deliverables

  • Coordinate and produce technical specifications

  • Contribute ideas, problem-solving, and leadership within project teams

  • Prepare designs and plans using AutoCAD, Land F/X, and Civil 3D

  • Develop presentations and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

  • Support construction administration and ongoing client engagement

  • Perform additional duties as needed to support project success

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program (or equivalent)

  • 12+ years of professional landscape architecture experience

  • Professional licensure

  • Strong ability to communicate design ideas through hand graphics, digital tools, and visual presentations

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while staying organized and proactive

  • Interest in emerging research, tools, and technologies within the profession

  • Collaborative mindset with a desire to share ideas, mentor others, and contribute to team success

Preferred Experience

  • Specialized experience in irrigation design and/or sports field design

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, and presentation skills

  • Experience with standard design processes, construction drawing sets, client engagement, and project management

Technical Skills

  • AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Land F/X

  • Google SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion 10.0 or later

  • Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $90,000–$110,000 DOE

  • Paid time off and holidays

  • Immediate access to a 401(k) program

  • Structured incentive compensation program

  • Ongoing opportunities for professional development
