We combine the resources of a larger practice with the supportive feel of a close-knit team—and we're intentional about doing things the right way, for both our patients and our staff.

What You'll Do as a Dental Billing & Insurance Specialist:

• Confirm insurance eligibility for all patients who schedule with the practice
• Verify dental and medical insurance benefits
• Communicate with patients to obtain any missing information to check benefits accurately
• Correctly enter benefit data into our patient database
• Double-check benefits on the day preceding appointments to ensure insurance coverage hasn't changed
• Support other team members within the billing department as needed
• Work full-time: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM-2:00 PM.

Our Ideal Dental Billing & Insurance Specialist:

• Experienced or willing to learn : Our number one expectation is that you will be willing to work diligently in a friendly and engaging manner. Experience is not required, but any dental office and/or insurance experience would certainly give you a head start!
• Tech-savvy: Very computer savvy – able to get comfortable accessing insurance company websites to check benefits – the goal is to quickly go from patient to patient and intuitively know where you need to go to find the benefits.
• Detail-oriented: Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and follow-through as multiple stages of the patient's experience rely on the timeliness and accuracy of your work.
• Adaptable: Embraces process improvement, responds well to feedback, and adjusts quickly to changing needs.
• Collaborative: Works well in a small team, communicates clearly, and contributes to a positive work atmosphere.
• Professional & Personable: Balances humility, resilience, and a sense of humor while working with various personalities.
• Proactive: Able to prioritize tasks, solve problems independently, and confidently make sound decisions.

 What we offer our Dental Billing & Insurance Specialist:

• $18-20 per hour
• Additional hourly pay is available if insurance coverage is not needed
