Housekeeper - Maitland, FL - Full Time

Days: 4-5 days per week

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour

A Maitland FL family is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for their home. You must be detail-oriented, proactive, and have a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate be working between two (2) homes. The homes are 3500 sf and 2000sf. There are 2 small dogs in the home.

D uties will include but are not limited to:

• Maintain an immaculate and well-organized home at all times.
• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, ceilings, baseboards, shelving, cabinetry, appliances, mirrors, and furniture—using non-abrasive products to prevent damage.
• Vacuum and spot-clean rugs, upholstery, and under furniture.
• Keep bathrooms fully stocked and replace garbage bags regularly.
• Handle laundry with care, including washing, ironing, mending, and cleaning mattress pads, pillow covers, and duvets as needed.
• Wash dishes (dishwasher and hand wash delicate items) and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist with light meal prep and cooking.
• Run local errands and occasional grocery shopping.
• Maintain organized spaces—drawers, closets, pantry, refrigerator, and garage.
• Monitor household supplies and report needed replenishments or repairs.
• Care for outdoor areas—sweep/blow patio, remove cobwebs, wipe furniture, clean grill, and empty pool skimmer.
• Take out and retrieve garbage cans.
• Clean reachable windows and door tracks.
• Ensure pets’ bowls are cleaned and refilled daily.
• Conduct regular deep cleaning of all rooms and outdoor kitchen areas.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ solid years of related experience working in a private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
