**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Day Shift $20 per hour** **Night Shift $21 per hour** **Job Description** Join our Offline department where you will be responsible for handling materials before and after production lines. Your role includes preparing and making reels, feeding the lines, and managing scrap for disposal or recycling. This active position involves building steel reels using bolts, hand, and power tools. **Responsibilities** + Start training in reel building. + Assemble reels using hand and power tools. + Operate in the grinding area to manually cut and load scrap reels onto a grinder. + Regrind chunks to process into the extrusion machine, set up machines, change screens, filters, and adjust temperatures. + Manage the transition of materials from reels to grinders and then to pellets. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year experience in industrial manufacturing. + Ability to work actively and remain on feet throughout the day. + Proficiency in using measuring tape, extrusion machines, grinders, impact guns, and saws. + Cross-trainable with experience in machine operation preferred. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in construction or automotive industries is beneficial. + Mechanical inclination and familiarity with hand and power tools. + Experience with pallet jack operation, lifting boxes, pallet building, shipping and receiving, inventory, and picking. + Forklift experience is preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits, including 80% premium insurance coverage, fully paid life insurance, and annual wage increases. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts, operating on a 2-2-3 rotation with alternating weeks of 48 and 36 hours. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Salt Lake City, UT. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
