Job Description

The Drilling Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising all drilling operations at the rig site to ensure wells are drilled safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drilling programs, company standards, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as the primary on-site representative, coordinating rig crews, service contractors, and drilling activities to achieve operational objectives while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards.

• Supervise and coordinate daily drilling operations on-site.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Implement and monitor approved drilling programs and operational plans.
• Act as the main point of contact between the rig, engineers, and management.
• Monitor drilling performance and optimize operational efficiency.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve drilling problems (e.g., well control, stuck pipe, lost circulation).
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and job safety analyses (JSA).
• Verify proper operation and maintenance of drilling equipment.
• Review and approve drilling-related activities and procedures.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily drilling and safety reports.
• Ensure environmental protection measures are followed at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of drilling equipment, well control, and drilling practices.
• Proven leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in rotational schedules and remote locations.
