Job Description

SAGE Rental Services is looking for a Driller to join our team. The Driller will be based out of our Deer Park, TX office and will be responsible for assisting with the installation of drilling equipment, while providing an exemplary level of service to our customers.
Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must have experience in water well drilling operations, possess knowledge of OSHA regulations, and be skilled in drilling techniques
• Prior experience in water well drilling or related field
• Proficiency in water well drilling techniques
• Ability to operate heavy equipment for drilling and rigging purposes
• Driver License (Required)
• Ability to Commute:

Primary Responsibilities

• YOUR PAY WILL BE BASED ON YOUR EXPERIENCE, LICENSING, AND TRAINING
• Operate drilling equipment to build and maintain dewatering wells
• Knowledge of submersible pumps and generators, along with wiring and troubleshooting
• Daily maintenance on drill rigs
• Utilize heavy equipment for installation and rig setup
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Drive commercial vehicles for transportation of drilling support equipment

Requirements: 

• Knowledge of machines and tools - their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
• Must be willing and available to be on call 24/7 for after-hours requests
• Driven, with problem-solving skills, a mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner and work well in a team environment
• Ability to lift to 50+ pounds
• Ensure company workplace safety guidelines are followed and environmental standards are practiced when on duty
