To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Summary Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is looking for a Data Scientist to support the Joint Training Synthetic Environment (JTSE) Joint Staff J7(JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex. What You Will Do - Explore and manipulate large-scale datasets using creative and effective data science methods. - Analyze complex data to uncover trends, correlations, and outliers; build predictive and prescriptive models. - Develop user-friendly reports and dynamic dashboards to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences. - Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and system integration. - Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations to present insights to non-technical stakeholders in an actionable way. - Document methodologies and code for transparency and reproducibility. - Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data science and machine learning. - Present findings through compelling story-telling that drives action and understanding. What You Must Have - 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and a desire to grow. Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
