Your Role

In this role, you will help shape the data infrastructure that drives advanced manufacturing by building robust systems for seamless data flow, integration, and accessibility. Working at the intersection of data engineering and platform development, you'll support enterprise analytics through modern cloud-based solutions and cross-functional collaboration to ensure data is clean, secure, and actionable for strategic and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain data systems that support enterprise-wide reporting and analytics. Responsible for data integration.
  • Develop and optimize workflows for ingesting, transforming, and validating data from diverse sources.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, quality assurance, and performance tuning. Manage access controls, security, and compliance for data resources.
  • Contribute to the adoption of emerging technologies, including cloud-native platforms and modern data fabrics.
  • Assist with setting up and configuring data platform technologies and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data movement, storage, and access.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Data Engineering (advanced degrees are a plus).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT functions, supporting data engineering, integration, and infrastructure.
  • Experience with a range of databases /database technologies, APIs, and data warehouses.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, etc.)
  • Experience developing high-performance data workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems and familiarity with modern data platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, provide ongoing support, and assist with onboarding and training users on new data solutions and platforms.
  • Knowledge of best practices for data security, access controls, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • A track record of solving complex data challenges and driving continuous improvement in data quality and accessibility.
  • At PSC Biotech, many of our projects and clients are located in various regions around the country. Therefore, we value candidates who are willing and able to travel as needed for project assignments and client engagements. The ability to adapt to different locations, cultures, and work environments is essential, as it allows our team members to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues nationally.
