**Job Title: Cable Technician *Job Starts on December 1st *** **Cable Technician** **Pay:** $18-$27 per hour **Overview** We are seeking **Cable Technicians** for an exciting long-term project at data centers. This role involves installing and organizing cable systems, working at ground level and from eco lifts (10-12 feet high). No prior cabling experience is required-just a willingness to learn and work safely at heights. We are hiring **15 candidates** who are motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused. **Key Responsibilities** + Spot for other technicians operating eco lifts. + Run and pull cables between colos. + Dress and organize cables along cable trays. + Manage and label cable systems. + Assemble trays, racks, and lay out wires following blueprints. **Essential Skills & Experience** + **6+ months** of hands-on experience in cabling, construction, installation, or industrial assembly. + **6-12 months** experience on construction sites. + Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow blueprints. **Additional Qualifications** + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. + Effective communication and teamwork abilities. + Self-motivated, professional, and positive approach. + Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents. + Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. + Physically capable of lifting **50 lbs** and moving up to **75 lbs** . + Ability to distinguish colors, read small print, and hear audible signals. **Why Join Us?** + Competitive pay and **health, dental, life, and 401(k)** benefits. + Projects scheduled for **2-3 years** with future opportunities. + Supportive, collaborative environment focused on professional growth. **Work Environment** + Indoor work on active construction sites. + Schedule: **Monday-Friday, five 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM-5:30 PM)** ; hours may vary by project. + Safety gear required: steel-toed boots, jeans, and work-appropriate shirt. + Client provides high-visibility vest, hearing protection, and gloves. + Must maintain constant attention to safety and detail in areas with moving equipment and potential hazards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of West Des Moines, IA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
