We are currently seeking a Business Consulting- Business Analyst with Data analyst ,Wealth Management to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in IPB (International Private Banking) or Retail Banking data domains , combined with hands-on data analysis and data mapping experience. The role involves analyzing business requirements, understanding data flows across banking systems, and ensuring accurate mapping, validation, and transformation of data to support digitalization, regulatory, or migration initiatives.

The ideal candidate will act as a data subject matter expert (SME) , working closely with technology and business teams to ensure high-quality data integration and reporting across multiple banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a Data SME to bridge business requirements with technical data solutions in the IPB/Retail banking domain.
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements for transformation, integration, or migration projects.
• Perform data analysis, data profiling, and validation across source and target systems.
• Create and maintain data mapping documents , including attribute-level mappings between source, staging, and target systems.
• Collaborate with data architects, developers, and testers to ensure correct data flow and lineage across systems.
• Support ETL design , data cleansing , and data quality initiatives .
• Conduct UAT / SIT support , validating data transformation logic and report outputs.
• Analyze and interpret customer, account, product, and transaction data from IPB and Retail banking systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams (business, data, and technology) to ensure accurate and consistent data migration or integration.
• Prepare clear documentation : BRDs, FSDs, Data Dictionaries, Mapping Specifications, and Traceability Matrices.
• Provide insights and recommendations for data quality improvements and data governance compliance .

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in banking or financial services .
• Strong domain expertise in IPB (International Private Banking) or Retail Banking data models (customers, accounts, transactions, products).
• Proven experience in data mapping , data lineage , and data migration projects .
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience working with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage) or data integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of data governance , metadata management , and data quality principles.
• Hands-on experience with Excel , Power BI , or similar tools for data profiling and reporting.
• Excellent documentation skills — creating BRDs, FSDs, and Mapping Specifications .
• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery models .
