Roles & Responsibilities

The Biochemist I is expected to work independently, perform all laboratory functions that involved in Tissue Culture such as Hybridoma roller bottle cell culture, ascites production, insect cell shaker culture, recombinant protein production, in-process assays and safety procedures.
The Biochemist I is expected to learn sterile technique and make antibodies.

Experience Required

The biochemist I is expected to be capable to complete assigned tissue culture procedures with good quality by following SOPs and batch records.
The position is expected to perform data entries timely and properly.
The biochemist I is expected to learn more procedures regularly based on the production requirements.

The position is expected to finish assignments on time to help keep up Tissue Culture productivity.
In addition, biochemist I is responsible for completing their individual training plan based on the approved IIGs annually.
The position works closely with senior biochemist to ensure that the assignments are done properly before due dates.
The position will support and participate in continuous improvement projects as identified by the Executive Steering Committee and assigned by the manager.
