Job Description

Position Summary

The Associate Research Analyst supports research and analysis projects by collecting, organizing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. This role is entry-level and designed for individuals with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills who are eager to contribute to research activities, reporting, and decision-making support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Research & Data Collection
    • Gather and compile data from primary and secondary sources (databases, surveys, reports, etc.).
    • Conduct literature reviews, market research, and background analysis on relevant topics.
    • Support the design and execution of surveys, questionnaires, and research instruments.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Assist in preparing research reports, presentations, and visualizations.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness before analysis.
  • Collaboration & Support
    • Work closely with senior research analysts and managers on ongoing projects.
    • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide input on methodologies.
    • Support cross-functional teams by providing data-driven insights for projects or strategies.
  • Documentation & Quality Control
    • Maintain well-organized records of research processes, methodologies, and findings.
    • Ensure compliance with research protocols, ethical standards, and confidentiality agreements.
    • Assist in preparing documentation for audits or external reviews if required.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Business, Public Health, or a related field.
    • Master's degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • 0-2 years of experience in research, data analysis, or related fields (internships included).
    • Familiarity with research methodologies, survey tools, and statistical analysis.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic statistical software (SPSS, R, Stata, or Python preferred).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
