A leading healthcare system in central Ohio is now seeking a full time Acute Care Pharmacist to join their award-winning medical organization!

Join a collaborative hospital pharmacy team and deliver high-impact, patient-centered medication therapy across ICU, Emergency Department, and inpatient units. The Acute Care Pharmacist will apply evidence-based pharmacotherapy to optimize outcomes, elevate safety, and enhance the patient experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. Daily responsibilities include verifying and optimizing medication orders, perform pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic drug monitoring, round with multidisciplinary teams to provide real-time pharmacotherapy recommendations and guideline-driven care, complete medication reconciliation at admission, transfer, and discharge, deliver patient and caregiver counseling, prepare and verify sterile IV and hazardous compounds in compliance with USP 797/800, manage inventory to ensure safe and timely medication access, respond to code blues and rapid responses, guide emergency medication selection and dosing, advance antimicrobial and opioid stewardship, interpret labs and culture results to streamline therapy, precept students and residents, develop policies and procedures, and maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.

What's Needed to Succeed:

  • Degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy
  • Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Ohio or ability to obtain
  • Prior working experience in an acute care setting highly desirable
